Blessed are the Flexible

Countless incredible opportunities await us in our destination country: Slovakia. We purchased our plane tickets for late November, so we’re just over a month away from moving around the world! We cannot wait to begin the work prepared for us there. Some of our supporters may be curious as to what we’ll be up to during our year serving in Eastern Europe. To give you a glimpse into our future, let’s take a look at a handful of moments from past ministry trips Bethany has taken. We will do many similar activities, as well as some new ones! One thing we will do for sure is keep our hands open to whatever God may place in them. He often uses the most unlikely situations to bring himself glory.  A phrase learned from a dear Slovak mentor during Bethany’s first mission trip says, “Blessed are the flexible, for they shall not be bent out of shape!”
